Those who receive these funds agree to enroll in a financial course, if not already completed, or agree to meet annually with a financial advisor. Applicants are not guaranteed to receive funds as our intention is for all disbursements to offer significant relief towards each recipient’s debt load. Your personal identifying information will not be shared with anyone, including the committees working on this.
If you are awarded funds, you will be contacted for information regarding the loan holder(s) you want the money distributed to.
Procedure for determining awards: Awards will be determined by the Evangelical Leadership Commission. Factors for determining how many awards will be distributed is dependent upon the number of applicants, the ratio of household income versus education debt load, and household circumstances.
