PROPHETIC CONVERSATIONS: CROSS+GENERATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON GUN VIOLENCE

Sometimes we struggle to begin a conversation on difficult topics. For 3 years, the WCC has been fostering faith-based conversation on the crisis of gun violence, helping communities move from silence to study, to action informed by faith. We begin with personal stories and the prophetic leadership of youth. A few words at a time, we start telling deeper truths together, making room for multigenerational engagement. This workshop offers a sampling of ways to step into the work, a free download of the WCC’s study-action guide, and a link to video clips that can be used in your own church.
